Mr. Cooper is the founding partner of the firm. He graduated from Vermont Law School with a J.D. in 1995, where he was an Editor of the Vermont Law Review. During his career as a litigator for over twenty (20) years, he has handled thousands of cases from inception through disposition. He has practiced in New York State Supreme Court, the Appellate Divisions of the New York Supreme Court, and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has also argued before the New York State’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals. Mr. Cooper has lectured on the topic of wage theft in New York at LaGuardia Community College. Since he formed Cilenti & Cooper, PLLC in 2009, Mr. Cooper’s practice has been largely devoted to representing individuals who are unable to pay for the services of an attorney.

Louis I. Newman has been a member of the New York Bar since 1968 and has negotiated and tried hundreds of cases, including matrimonial cases which are cited for various precedents. He has represented professional athletes, celebrities and judges in New York State in their divorces. He has been called upon to testify as an expert witness regarding New York divorce law and participated as a panelist in Continuing Legal Education courses.

Mr. Klipstein concentrates in two areas of the law: 1. Trusts and Estates, Estate Planning, Wills, Estate Administration, and Estate, Gift and Income Tax matters related to estates and trusts; 2. Immigration and Naturalization. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1960 and is admitted to the Bars of the U.S. Supreme Court, United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Klipstein received an A.B. Degree from Columbia College in 1957, his J.D. Degree from Columbia Law School in 1960 (where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar), and an LLM in Taxation from the New York University Law School, Graduate Division in 1965. He is a member of the American Bar Association, N.Y. State Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York County Lawyers Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Judges Association, and the Westchester County Bar Association. He has been or is a member or Chairman of various committees at these Bar Associations for may years. Mr. Klipstein contributed to Drafting New York Wills, Law and Forms, published by Matthew Bender (Lexis). He has also been an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Part of N.Y. City Civil Court (N.Y. County) since 1971.

Christopher Anderson is a practicing lawyer in the state of New York handling a variety of legal matters.

Attorney Leino has 44 years of legal experience, with 42 years as a sole practitioner. Jason D. Jones, Esq. founded the Law Office of Jason D. Jones, P.C. in 2018 after more than a decade of concentrated work in trusts and estates, estate administration, and related tax matters across both domestic and international settings. His background includes work with Japanese law firms, international trusts and estates practices, and major international law firms engaged in complex corporate finance matters—experience that continues to inform his approach to sophisticated private-client representation. After returning to the United States from Tokyo, Mr. Jones balanced paralegal work with his legal studies at Fordham University School of Law, where he developed a focused interest in trusts and estates and advanced estate taxation. During law school, he interned at the Queens County Surrogate’s Court, gaining early exposure to probate and administration proceedings from the court’s perspective. ​As an attorney, Mr. Jones practiced at an international firm advising high-net-worth clients on estate planning and tax minimization, and later at a New York–area firm concentrating on domestic estate planning and probate matters. Jon served for a dozen years as the Co-Leader of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and has more than 40 years’ experience trying cases, arguing appeals, and advising clients on complex litigation, as well as more than 25 years' experience as a mediator. Jon’s practice involves a broad range of commercial and corporate litigation, with an emphasis on class action defense. The Commercial Litigation group has been named a Tier 1 practice group in Best Lawyers for the past several years. He has handled complex litigation involving banking, securities, publishing, UCC, employment, antitrust, defamation, trademarks and unfair competition, real estate, trusts, and estates. Jon has also advised companies and individuals facing regulatory investigations. Jon is a seasoned mediator with extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution. He serves on the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Mediators and is a member of the mediation panels for both the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He has mediated complex commercial disputes across industries, drawing on decades of experience as both a neutral and an advocate in arbitration and mediation proceedings, as well as his experience as an advocate in diverse litigation, in order to help parties reach efficient, practical, and durable resolutions.
