Gennaro Of Counsel to the San Antonio office with nearly two decades of experience as an attorney and investigator. After several years away from San Antonio, he feels privileged to have the opportunity to work with and help in anyway the city’s growing and diverse immigrant community. Gennaro earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received a full academic scholarship from Ave Maria Law School in Ann Arbor Michigan, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member of the Florida and Texas state bars and has practiced at both the state and federal level. In many of his cases, he has had the honor of fighting for the labor rights of immigrants on an individual and collective basis. Shaunté M. Collins is a native Austinite and first joined Germer in 2020. She graduated from Duke University with a degree in Political Science and certificate in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. She then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Shaunté was awarded the Chief Justice Alma Lopez “Women in Law” Student Leadership Award, was a Deans’ Academic Award recipient, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. Shaunté served as a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and was the winner and Best Speaker of the Linda and Dave Schlueter First-Year Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Rebeca Martinez at the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals.

Attorney Robert Heil grew up in Austin and in Corpus Christi, Texas. Robert was a local attendee of Windsor Park Elementary, Baker M.S. and W.B. Ray High School. All through high school he ran track, played baseball, was on the debate team, and made nationals for Student Congress as a Senator from Texas. Robert's love of law and justice led him to the University of Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in International Business and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. Robert J. Heil III is also a proud graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College (TLC) in Dubois, Wyoming and a TLC Trial Warrior. Since becoming a lawyer back in 2001, Robert has been dedicated to battling for justice and standing along side the innocent, injured, voiceless, and oppressed. Mr. Kinard was born and raised in Southeast Texas. After graduating from Lamar University, he attended Baylor University School of Law where he founded and served as president of the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society, an organization dedicated to public service in the legal profession. Prior to co-founding KGS Law, Mr. Kinard worked as a litigation attorney in Houston representing plaintiffs in personal injury and first party insurance cases. Mr. Kinard has handled hundreds of cases on behalf of injured victims against insurance companies and has extensive trial and appellate experience.

Carlos A. Saldaña was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Mr. Saldana moved to Houston, Texas. Mr. Saldana attended South Texas College of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2014. Mr. Saldaña began his legal career as a defense lawyer for several large insurance companies. After trying multiple jury trials to verdict for the insurance companies, Mr. Saldaña shifted his practice to work for victims of negligence. Mr. Saldaña is passionate about helping victims bring accountability to others through ethical, legal means.
