Paul has lived in Houston and the surrounding area for over 40 years. His parents left Vietnam in 1974 to escape the communist invasion of their homeland. Mr. Tu graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Mr. Tu then attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he graduated in the top 6% in his class, and was a Senior Editor for the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. He also received a certification from the Institute of International and Immigration Law for his focus on current and developing immigration law. After graduation, Mr. Tu began working for the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. During his time at the DA’s office, he was selected to attend a national training academy for prosecutors focusing on advocacy skills. The National Advocacy Center was directed and funded by the United States Department of Justice. Mr. Tu has extensive trial experience including: Felony Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Assaults, Home Invasions, Aggravated Robbery and Theft. Justin D. After exposing the poor safety history of the trucking company, they agreed to settle the case for $1,950,000 with a client recovery of $1,025,000.  Represented a six year old Austin girl who sustained a brain injury at a local Austin business.  Prior to trial, the local business agreed to settle the case for $250,000 with a client recovery of $125,000.  Represented a Buda family that was involved in a head on automobile collision.  The husband and wife received spinal injuries from the impact of the collision. Kyle is a lifelong Texan who has practiced in courtrooms across the State. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Government, he attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. During law school, Kyle worked as a law clerk for a firm in Dallas, interned with Chief Judge Ricardo Hinojosa of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in McAllen, and Justice Elizabeth Lang-Miers of the 5th District Court of Appeals in Dallas. After law school, Kyle began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Karen Gren Scholer, a federal District Judge in the Northern District of Texas. During this time, he dealt exclusively with the Court’s criminal cases, ranging from illegal reentries across the border up to complex drug smuggling rings operating in North Texas. Kyle then served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Dallas County DA’s Office, handling hundreds of cases while honing his skills in trial. Another move down I-35 to Austin continued Kyle’s career as a defense attorney at a local firm downtown.
