About William
William Green comes from a family of old time Californians that settled in the San Diego area in the 1600's. William Green went to law school at the urging of his identical twin brother who also became an attorney, serving his community at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in the 1980's. There had been attorneys in the family in the San Diego area, the last of which was Guy Sellick who retired at the approximate time that William Green started practicing in California.
The home page of this firms web site features the front cover of the history book that William Green's father's cousin is mention in, who also has the same name as the head of the firm, William Green. We have been granted permission to reprint the portion of the book that features the early family history in San Diego of the Green family.
William Green started his solo practice in Orange County after passing the bar, and his very first case that was filed in Orange County was featured in the inside cover of the Orange County Register. Although the Spite fence case made for interesting reading in the register, it was a trying experience for attorney Green. His identical twin brother also had his first Superior Court Trial that also involved a Real Estate issue, a prescriptive easement case in which his brother prevailed on behalf of his client and won the case against a Veteran Trial Attorney who defended the case for the losing property owner.
Today, attorney Green focuses solely on injury cases involving tort actions as well as industrial injury cases. His cases have been published in the Appellate Reports and he still continues to try difficult cases involving novel issues. William W. Green has been practicing law in California for the past 34 years. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from University of California, Santa Barbara and received his Juris Doctor degree from La Verne Law School.
