Morton Price is senior counsel to the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group, where he puts his decades of experience to work for each one of his clients.Along with lecturing widely on estate planning, Mort’s experience also includes acting as Guardian ad Litem in a number of complicated accounting and construction proceedings. He has also successfully represented the family of a holocaust art theft victim. He has also been an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where he has served on several committees, including the Committee on Administrative Law, the Committee on Professional Responsibility, the Committee on Legal Problems of the Aging, and the chairman of the Transportation Committee. Mort graduated from Yale Law School after graduating cum laude from Bowdoin College, where he was an elected member of Phi Beta Kappa. After completing a term of active military service, he went to work as an assistant to Professor Jack Weinstiein of Columbia Law School and as a clerk for Associate Justice Herbert Cohen of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In years prior, Mort was the Managing Partner of Schwab Goldberg Price & Dannay, which would later merge with Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman and is currently with McLaughlin Stern, where he focuses on estate planning, preparation of wills and trusts, estate administration, and real estate. He has also served as Treasurer and a Trustee of the City Club of New York and as a member of the United Nations Hospitality Committee.

Mr. Klipstein concentrates in two areas of the law: 1. Trusts and Estates, Estate Planning, Wills, Estate Administration, and Estate, Gift and Income Tax matters related to estates and trusts; 2. Deena R. Merlen is a Partner at the firm. She serves clients at both our New York and Stamford offices and heads the Connecticut practice. Her practice areas include intellectual property, employment and labor law, media and entertainment, general business law, commercial transactions and dispute resolution. In her employment practice, Ms. Merlen is a trusted “go to” problem solver and counsel to individuals, established name brand companies and startups alike. Martin Garbus has a diverse practice that consists of individuals and companies involved in politics, media, entertainment, and the arts.
