QUESTIONNAIRE
Medical malpractice case which was rejected by one of the biggest New York medical malpractice firms. The client came in with little hope. I reviewed his medicals and told him the case was tough but that I am confident of a positive result. We ended up settling the case within 9 months before depositions for a very nice number. The case involved a perforated colon colostomy.
How did you build a successful practice?Taking a bet on myself to succeed when everyone else said don't do it.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?Passion, dedication, commitment and the skills to back up their claims.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Queens is a very diverse community you have to know and understand the people here in order to pick a good jury and retain good clients.
