Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Medical malpractice case which was rejected by one of the biggest New York medical malpractice firms. The client came in with little hope. I reviewed his medicals and told him the case was tough but that I am confident of a positive result. We ended up settling the case within 9 months before depositions for a very nice number. The case involved a perforated colon colostomy.

How did you build a successful practice?

Taking a bet on myself to succeed when everyone else said don't do it.

Passion, dedication, commitment and the skills to back up their claims.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Queens is a very diverse community you have to know and understand the people here in order to pick a good jury and retain good clients.
