Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Husband left Wife and child. Wife didn\'t work and was terrified about her and her child\'s future. I was able to get the house awarded to her with no cash having to be paid by her, a good child support and alimony award and a disbursement from Husband\'s retirement. She came out fine and is building her new life without worrying about finances.
How did you build a successful practice?
By focusing on the client. I return calls and emails within 24 hours and send updates to clients each time anything happens on their case. Clients want to be informed when things happen.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Knowledge of the law, experience and the willingness to admit if they don\'t know something and agree to research it and find an answer. Good communication skills and responsive.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
The other parties\' name (conflict check), what has happened, has anything been filed with the court, what county do you reside, Where does the other party reside, what do you want to achieve.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I was first licensed in CA in 1992, so I have a lot of experience. I genuinely care about my clients and work hard to get them the best outcome possible.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Watching clients who were beaten down by an ex get stronger and stronger as the case unfolds. I love seeing the personal growth.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Writing song lyrics, movies, theatre, working out, spending time with friends and family.

I speak at events when requested and attend Mooresville community events.
