Aaron Peacock, a registered patent attorney, is an associate at the firm, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Computer Science graduating summa cum laude, a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree in law. His legal practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law including patent, trademark and copyright law and emphasizes the advocacy and protection of intellectual property at the prosecution and litigation stages. He has experience in prosecuting patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as well as copyright applications before the United States Copyright Office. In addition, he has participated in intellectual property litigation before various courts. As a lawyer with an engineering and business background, he has the knowledge and capability to advise and counsel clients in a multifaceted marketplace to best protect their intellectual property.
Before joining the firm, Aaron was an associate attorney at Michael A. O'Neil, P.C., a small intellectual property law boutique. By joining forces with the litigation attorneys at Gagnon, Peacock & Shanklin P.C., Aaron believes that clients, especially intellectual property clients, can have peace of mind knowing that the firm can provide assistance in all aspects of intellectual property law - whether at the prosecution or litigation stages.
Schooled in business and an advocate of a free-market economy, he is a strong believer in that ol' tried and true slogan: the customer is always right. As a lawyer at Gagnon, Peacock & Shanklin P.C., he strives to go the extra mile for clients, providing excellent, effective service. He understands that clients are the life-blood of the firm. As a result, he believes in not just meeting but surpassing client expectations.
Away from the office, Aaron enjoys spending time with Jennifer, his girlfriend, and her big, rowdy dog, Bubba.
