The process or road map to this outcome may change based on your family dynamic. There are many facets to alternative dispute resolution, which may be right for your family and I enjoy helping families gauge their insights to reach family-focused solutions. There is nothing more sacred than the investment you make in your family and your children–there is no one more capable of making thoughtful and purposeful decisions about your life than you. I am a registered neutral in Georgia, focusing on domestic legal matters. As a neutral, I can help individuals facilitate their conflicts through mediation or arbitration. Resolving conflict without the aid of our court system is not a novel practice and it is certainly something families engage in every day. As a neutral, I guide the parties through negotiations and if necessary, can assist in drafting a mediated agreement or as an arbitrator, reaching a decision with consideration for the parties’ stated position. If the dispute requires court intervention, as an attorney practicing in metro Atlanta I have experience representing and assisting individuals and families with all aspects of family and matrimonial law including but not limited to divorce, custody, domestic violence, property division, parenting plans, child support, and legitimation. Despite the adversarial nature of litigation, my focus remains on ensuring my client’s interests remain with their children. I am pleased to work as a court-appointed and private Guardian ad Litem (“GAL”) representing the child client’s best interest. In addition, I am a certified parent coordinator to assist high conflict parents to return their focus and priority to their children and help disengage from the costs of litigation.
