About Adam
Adam received his juris doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School after having worked for several years as a journalist. Prior to law school, he was a staff writer for The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, the nation's oldest daily law journal, where he covered Illinois courts, lawyers, law schools and bar associations. While at the Law Bulletin, Adam received journalism awards from the Illinois Press Association and the Illinois Associated Press Editors Association. His articles have appeared in numerous other publications, including the American Bar Association's ABA Journal, Rolling Stone magazine and The Decisive Utterance, a student newspaper at The John Marshall Law School. Adam studied history and journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was editor in chief of The Daily Cardinal, an independent, student-run daily newspaper that was first published in 1892.
In his spare time, Adam helps maintain a 400-acre family farm in Wisconsin , where he hopes to someday open a horse boarding, breeding and training business. From time to time, he travels to a summer camp ranch in southern Utah , where he leads five-day-long wilderness excursions on horseback to the top of a mountain with groups of children and teenagers from around the world.
