Adam worked as a court certified law clerk for two years at Lafky & Lafky, a general litigation firm in Salem, Oregon while in law school. In addition, he spent time as a legal intern for Seattle University School of Law’s Institute of Indian Estate Planning and Probate where he provided free estate planning services including wills, power of attorneys, and advance health care directives for residents of Warm Springs Reservation in Warm Springs, Oregon. He participated in the Office of Legislative Counsel for the state of Oregon during the 2017 legislative session as an extern researching the legal results of proposed legislation within Oregon and also researched legislative approaches taken by other states. At Heart of the Valley, Adam is particularly interested in civil litigation, including landlord-tenant cases, and criminal law.
Adam spends time outside of the office with his wife Liz and his dog Rom, a Siberian Husky. They like to explore new areas of Oregon together. Adam enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, cooking, and attending concerts. He also enjoys practicing various performance art including juggling, devil sticks, poi, staff, and diabolo.
