About Adele
Adele Reester is a shareholder in the firm whose law practice is primarily devoted to the representation of institutional clients, including special districts and school districts. She has participated in negotiations of collective bargaining agreements with teacher unions, and counseled and defended clients regarding special education matters, student discipline, labor and employment matters, the powers and duties of Boards of Education and Boards of Directors, policy development, TABOR, charter school issues, and many other aspects of law related to the operations of schools and special districts. She has successfully handled both jury trials and trials to the court, as well as arbitrations, mediations, and liquor license applications for new businesses, transfers of ownership, and special events.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Reester served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roxanne Bailin, Chief Judge for the Twentieth Judicial District of Colorado in Boulder and worked for several years as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Loveland before joining the firm in 2001.
Ms. Reester is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Bar Associations, the Colorado Special Districts Association, the Colorado Council of School Board Attorneys, and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association. As an education attorney, she has previously served as President of the Colorado Council of School Board Attorneys and remains active in the organization.
