About Alan

On January 2, 1980, I sat in my new office on an old chair at a borrowed desk and looked across at the secretary I had hired to work full time and wondered how I would have enough work to keep her busy even part time. Since then in addition to being able to buy a new chair and desk, I've had the opportunity and pleasure to serve thousands of clients and watch Alan Barry & Associates, LLC grow to the firm it is today. Our attorneysand staff are not only great professionals, but great people as well, all dedicated to one abiding principle: represent each client zealously as a professional, compassionately as a person. From this perspective, each one of us not only brings to bear our knowledge of the law, but also a commitment to achieving the best possible result with passion and compassion. I know you have hundreds of lawyers to choose from and that I and all of us have to work that much harder, that much smarter to earn your trust and validate that your decision to choose Alan Barry & Associates, LLC was a right one. In fact I think it's our passion for what we do that sets us apart and makes us a highly regarded law firm. I have always thought that I should treat my clients the way I want to be treated; with respect, compassion, and professionalism. I think that taking this approach hs served me well in building a successful practice.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A proven track record, and someone who treats you as I described in 2, above; with respect, compassion and professionalism.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

To me offering as much information as possible in a free consult is very important. I am appreciative of any inquiry for help and will speak in detail about the issues presented by the prospective client.

When calling me, I need facts; I need to know all of the circumstances so that I can best respond.

Every day that I come to my office, I am so thankful to be engaged in work that I love, and which allows me to help so many individuals and families.

My number one interest is being the best father that I can be to my 4 children. In addition,I happily pursue my interests in music, architecture, vintage automobiles and photography.
