I like to think that I make a big difference in all my cases. Recently, I have been attacking the scheduling of marijuana and THC as schedule I, drugs in Federal court and the scheduling of THC as a Schedule I drug in Virginia. To that end I subpoenaed the Chairman of the Board of Pharmacy in Virginia and am in the process of subpoenaing Attorney General Barr in Federal court. Recently, I discovered that conversations between me and my client were recorded and provided to an assistant Commonwealth's Attorney. I got the Virginia State Bar to sanction that attorney. On DUI cases, I got the Department of Forensic Science to produce documentation that the breath test will produce positive results for substances other than ethyl alcohol and I repeatedly subpoena the head of the breath alcohol section to testify as to that fact. The results so far have been positive.

I tend to fight most of my cases and I tend to win more than other lawyers. As a result, I get referrals.

I can provide a great deal and frequently, I do. However, my initial consultation is free, so, I prefer meeting in the office.

In the criminal area, the charges, the court and some basic facts about the case. In other areas, I generally want to know if it is worth meeting with the client. That varies from case to case.

Coaching. This year, our Little League Team won the town championship and our all-star team won districts and made it to the semi-finals of the state championship.
