Prior to joining Wessels Sherman, Al was the owner of Seneczko Law Offices, which represented management in all areas of labor and employment law. As Al himself comments, our philosophy at Seneczko Law Offices was proactive in nature and our goal was to counsel employers in making the best decisions in hope of avoiding litigation, or at the very least to be placed in the best position in the event of litigation. Known as one of the preeminent labor and employment law firms in Wisconsin, Seneczko Law Offices defended and counseled employers in matters before the Wisconsin Equal Rights and Worker's Compensation Divisions, the NLRB, OSHA and in state and federal court for more than 20 years.
In addition to managing a preeminent law office and representing companies' interests, Al's career is distinguished not only by his successful representation of clients, but also by his widely recognized publications. For example, he is the legal editor of Alcohol and Drugs: D.O.T Compliance Manual, published by J.J. Keller and Associates, and he has published works that have appeared in The Human Resources Commentator, The Transportation Law Journal, and The Marquette Law Review. Al is a highly sought speaker on all subjects relating to labor and employment law, including the defense of difficult worker's compensation claims. Notably, he has spoken for the Wisconsin Council of Safety, where he served as a member of the advisory board for more than 29 years, the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association, the Governor's Conference on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, the Wisconsin Society for Human Resource Management, and many other groups.
