About Alexandria
Ms. Kane is an associate in the Business Department. She concentrates her practice in corporate law, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Kane represents and advises investors and public and private companies in general corporate governance, business formations, capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law compliance.
Ms. Kane regularly serves as outside general counsel to corporate clients, providing ongoing legal analysis of corporate risks and opportunities, and drafting and negotiating stock purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, consulting agreements, employment agreements, joint venture agreements and loan agreements. Ms. Kane also has extensive experience in preparing and advising clients concerning required securities filings and private placements of securities.
Ms. Kane received her B.A. in 1996 from Georgetown University and her J.D. in 1999 from Boston College Law School. She is licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts and is admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Ms. Kane is currently serving her second term as a member of the Board of Governors of the Georgetown University Alumni Association. She is also the Vice President of the National Organization of Italian American Women.
