About Alexis
Alexis Peters is an attorney in the Firm's Commercial Real Estate, Hospitality and Lending Groups. Ms. Peters' transactional practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development issues, financing and leasing involving commercial and multiple-lot residential real estate. Her clients include local and national real estate developers, investors, lenders, hotel owners and home builders. She also represents landlords and tenants in retail, industrial, ground and office lease transactions.
Ms. Peters has successfully structured, negotiated, documented and closed transactions involving shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, multi-family housing (rental and condominium), health care facilities and other retail and mixed-use projects. Since joining the Firm, she has helped to close almost a billion dollars in transactions.
Ms. Peters' practice also consists of advising lenders and borrowers regarding loss mitigation and recovery maximization strategies in distressed loan workouts and restructures involving mezzanine, construction and term loans.
Ms. Peters currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland and is a member of the Suburban Maryland Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
