About Alisa

Alisa Wilkes graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and received her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. As a member of the FCSL mock trial team, she traveled the country competing in various mock trial competitions.

Before becoming a licensed attorney, Ms. Wilkes worked as a paralegal for almost three years at a law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. After completing law school, she then concentrated heavily on the firm’s appellate work, undertaking extensive legal research and writing tasks.

A recipient of numerous awards throughout college, law school, and her career, Ms. Wilkes was recently honored with the Community Pearl Award, given to a woman in Clay, Baker, or Duval County who exemplifies service and leadership in the community. Ms. Wilkes has also been honored to receive the Duval Juvenile Detention Facility’s Volunteer Service Award for two straight years.

Ms. Wilkes is active in her church and community and serves as a member on the Boy Scout Committee, the Duval Juvenile Residential Facility Advisory Board, and was recently appointed to the Building Codes Adjustment Board for the City of Jacksonville. She is a former member of the 2011-2012 class of the Jacksonville Political Leadership Institute.
