Allen W. Ross graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Texas.  He attended San Jacinto College where he was Phi Theta Kappa.  From there, he attended Southern Methodist University and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts having majored in cinematography.  In 1990, Allen was accepted into Texas Tech University's School of Law.  He graduated in 1993 and was licensed by the State Bar of Texas that same year.

Mr. Ross is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, the Texas Municipal Court's Association and is past president of the Cherokee County Bar Association.  He is licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas to practice in all courts, trial and appellate, within the State.  Allen is the former municipal court judge for the City of Tyler -- a position he has held for more than sixteen years.  As trial judge, Allen presided over more than 10,000 jury and bench trials.

Allen is the proud father of four daughters and four grandchildren.  He is a member of First United Methodist Church where he is active in the media program, adult music program, and is a charter member of "Out of the Boat" -- a contemporary Christian performance group in which he sings and plays the piano.

Our office charges a one-time non-refundable $50.00 consultation fee. Most fees assessed are set up on a payment plan. Our general payment plan terms are: >One-half down >Balance paid in 3 monthly installments. We do not bill by the hour. Our fees are flat-fee based (meaning that the fee quoted is for work performed from start to finish). Most fees do not include court costs and/or expenses. The above varies from case to case. For instance, if you are hiring an attorney later in your case, you can expect the entire quoted fee to be payable at the time of employment. We accept major credit cards.
