Attorney Alston said, "[O]ne of the primary reasons I became and attorney was to make sure that people knew what I didn't know when I started out in business. Entrepreneurship has been a driving force in his life, and began at an early age. Since his first lemonade stand and video game exchange, Attorney Alston has sought to maximize value for his clients. In 2001, Attorney Alston founded Movement Productions (now, Movement Productions, LLC) to provide quality event oriented entertainment and information services and resources. Similarly, Attorney Alston established McAlpine PLLC to provide client focused and dedicated customer service yielding high-quality legal counsel in a variety of practice areas.

Lawsuits & Disputes Judgment for Plaintiffs - Chappell Adult Day Care, LLC v. Wildrick | Bench trial. McAlpine PLLC represented the plaintiffs, a small business and its owner, which were sold a transport van by private sale. The van was sold without lawfully transferring title to Plaintiffs and was unlawfully repossessed by the seller. Settlement - Bayly v. Midgett Productions, LLC | Pre-trial settlement. McAlpine PLLC represented the Defendants, a television and film production company and its owner, which were sued for breach of contract, misappropriation of contract, and misappropriation of trademark related to a show, Neale Bayly Rides: Peru. Settlement - Plaintiffs v. Ashton South End. Pre-litigation settlement in Landlord-Tenant matter. McAlpine PLLC represented the Plaintiffs (husband and wife) who were forced to terminate lease. McAlpine PLLC secured an amicable settlement for Plaintiff. Settlement - Local Edge Carolina, LLC v. The Emory Law Firm, P.A. McAlpine PLLC represented Defendant, law firm, in a debt collection action, and secured an amicable settlement for Defendant. Rodriguez v. Edison Nation, LLC. Defendant's initial Motion to Dismiss withstood and Plaintiff's Motion to Amend Complaint. McAlpine PLLC represented a client that was previously Pro Se, won leave to amend Plaintiff's pro se complaint, and successfully argued against Defendant's initial motion to dismiss pro se complaint in a suit seeking to overturn an existing arbitration award against Plaintiff. Defendant's ultimately won their revised motion to dismiss and uphold existing arbitration award.
