Michael P. McCready received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Richmond in three years and continued at the University of Richmond obtaining his law degree in 1992. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk for a federal judge in Virginia. He came to Chicago the next year and began working at a law firm handling personal injury cases. After four years, he rose to partner. In 1999, he left the partnership to form his own firm, The Law Offices of Michael P. McCready & Associates. Since venturing out on his own, the firm has grown rapidly. Mr. McCready is licensed to practice in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin as well as the federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. Vivian R. Khalaf is a founding partner of Khalaf & Abuzir, LLC, and its affiliate office in Ramallah, Palestine, “Agility Services”. Ms. Khalaf has over 20 years of immigration law experience and practices both family and business immigration. She is also well-versed in family law, with an emphasis on Islamic matrimonial issues. Born in Jerusalem, Vivian R. Khalaf obtained her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1987 and her J.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1991. Ms. Khalaf is fluent in the Arabic language and represents a multitude of individuals and corporate clients from various regions in the Middle East. She has resided in both Palestine and Jordan and travels to the region on a regular basis. Ms. Khalaf is a member of the Illinois bar and the United States District Court–Northern District of Illinois.
