Amanda Louise Iannone-Hens, Associate Attorney

Amanda Iannone-Hens joined The Colwell Law Group, LLC as an Associate Attorney in February of 2022.  She graduated from Albany Law School of Union University in 2019 and is admitted to the New York State Bar.  While in law school, Mrs. Iannone-Hens had internships with both the Watervliet Corporation Counsel and the New York State Department of Health as part of their Litigation Bureau.

After graduating from law school, Mrs. Iannone-Hens furthered her experience in both the civil and criminal law sectors where he became well-versed in litigation and client advocacy. Amanda served as a staff attorney at Boies, Schiller, Flexner, LLP conducting document review and advocating in Federal Court issues related to Finance and Intellectual Property.  On the other end of the spectrum, Mrs. Iannone-Hens enhanced her courtroom advocacy skills as a criminal defense attorney.  Amanda possesses extensive skill in both criminal DWI defense as well as broader criminal defense.

Mrs. Iannone-Hens graduated Cum Laude from Clarkson University in 2016 earning a Bachelor’s in Engineering and Management with a Minor in Psychology.  While attending Clarkson University, Amanda was a board member for their Engineering and Management Society as well as their Political Science group.

During her time at Colwell Law, Ms. Iannone-Hens was awarded the designation as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in Upstate New York for 2023. No more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.

Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time outside in the Adirondacks.
