About Amanda

Attorney McIntyre was born in Charlotte, North Carolina but grew up just over the border in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She began her career in law at the age of sixteen as a receptionist for the Law Offices of A. Philip Baity, P.A. She graduated from Fort Mill High School, and attended Florida State University. After graduating with a Bachelors in Science in Criminology, Attorney McIntyre returned to Fort Mill to work as a legal assistant, focusing on criminal, domestic and civil matters. Attorney McIntyre then went on to the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctor a semester early, allowing her to take both the South Carolina and North Carolina bar in the same year.

After working as an associate attorney for many years, in 2016, Attorney McIntyre began working on fulfilling a lifelong dream to open her own law firm, and shortly after, A. McIntyre Law’s doors opened. Belmont, North Carolina, was chosen because Attorney McIntyre greatly appreciates its small-town, next-to-the-big-city charm, vibrancy, and convenient proximity. In addition, Belmont’s access to other counties where she frequently represents clients cannot be beat. In fact, it’s only a short drive to many of the courts in South Carolina as well.
