Amita Dhaliwal Peltz graduated from the University of Tennessee, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1998. She attended Wake Forest University School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2002. She was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 2002. Amita is a past president of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (2005--2006) and is currently on the Board for Junior Achievement of WNC. Amita has extensive experience in bankruptcy law, and also represents clients in Trademarks and Copyright Law. Amita enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and traveling.
