Andrew J. Marchese, Partner/Shareholder

Andrew concentrates his practice in complex litigation with an emphasis in the defense of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, architects and engineers, directors and officers, brokers-dealers, fiduciaries, real estate agents and title agents. Andrew also spends considerable time representing condominium/homeowners associations and directors and officers in any type of litigation that spawns out of this area of the law.  More recently, Andrew has handled employment law matters.  In this capacity he has defended employers and the claims brought against them alleging discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of employment contract, etc.

In addition to the above referenced practice areas, Andrew has a wide range of experience in the aviation industry, having litigated numerous cases in various federal and state courts, including the defense of manufacturers, component manufacturers, fixed-based operators (FBOs), flight schools, airlines, pilots, foreign governments, and other aviation industry participants.

Andrew brings a distinctive combination of tort and commercial litigation skills, developed during his tenure at his prior law firms in Miami, Florida, to his representation of various individuals, private and public companies and non-profit entities in a broad range of business matters.

In 1990 Andrew graduated from the University of Maryland (College Park) where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice/Pre-Law. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1995 from The Thomas M. Cooley School of Law (Cum Laude), graduating in the top ten percent of his class.
