About Angie
Angie D. Knight was born in Covington, Georgia and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Georgia State University in 1998. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University, New Orleans, School of Law in 2005. Knowing that she planned to live and work in the great state of South Carolina, Angie completed her last year of law school at the University of South Carolina, School of Law in Columbia.
After law school, Angie went on to work for the South Carolina Judicial Department as a law clerk for the 15th Judicial Circuit here in Horry County before moving into private practice. She has been practicing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since 2006 and obtained her license to practice in Georgia in 2008.
Angie is actively involved with the South Carolina Bar Association and the Horry County Bar Association and is a member of the American Bar Association, as well. She is actively involved in the Myrtle Beach community with membership in the Carolina Forest Business Leaders, Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors, Historic Broadway Business Association, Coastal Power Women’s Network, and Inlet Business Builders.
