She graduated from Rollins College Cum Laude in 2005. AnnMarie began the journey to her legal career in 2006 when she commenced her legal education at Barry University – Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During her education at Barry University, AnnMarie was President of the St. Thomas More Society, an organization whose purpose is to promote high ethical and moral standards in the legal profession. She also earned high honors in Healthcare Law and Trial Advocacy. AnnMarie also participated in a clinical internship at Barry University Children and Families Legal Clinic. In 2007, AnnMarie joined a personal injury firm as a legal intern while attending law school at Barry University. She sat for the Florida Bar Exam in July 2009, passed and was admitted into the Florida Bar in October 2009. That same month AnnMarie was promoted within the firm to Associate Attorney where she continued to handle personal injury cases.
In September 2010, AnnMarie left the personal injury firm to join a firm as an Associate Attorney to focus primarily on family law. AnnMarie gained valuable litigation experience in this position and she has led many family law trials. AnnMarie has become intimately familiar with several areas of family law, including: uncontested divorces, contested divorces, domestic violence injunctions, child support, alimony, paternity issues, parental time-sharing (often referred to as child custody), matters involving relocation, dependency matters, and modifications. Prior to leaving the firm, AnnMarie was promoted to Senior Associate Attorney.
In 2015, AnnMarie left the firm to start her own law practice, Jenkinson Legal, PLLC. AnnMarie desires to promote a client focused law firm, where her clients ‘needs are the top priority.
