About Antar
Antar K. Vaughan was born in Brooklyn, NY, and eventually moved to South Carolina where he spent most of his childhood years. Mr. Vaughan attended the University of Virginia and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in the Spring of 1997. After working for one year as a paralegal with the law firm of McGuire Woods in Richmond, VA, Mr. Vaughan enrolled in the University of Miami School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in the Spring of 2001. While in law school, Mr. Vaughan was a member of the Moot Court Board, and served as Vice-President of the Black Law Students Association and as Vice-Chair of the Student Bar Senate.
Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Vaughan worked with the law firm of Ruden McClosky in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He concentrated his practice of law in the area of civil litigation defense. Mr. Vaughan eventually relocated to New York and began practicing with Aaronson Rappaport, a litigation defense firm located in midtown New York City. At this firm, he worked primarily with the products liability defense division. Mr. Vaughan worked on several asbestos litigation trials during his time in New York.
Mr. Vaughan is currently concentrating his practice in complex commercial litigation defense.
