Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference. We represented a father and son and their family business against a former business partner who tried to steal from them. We took the case all the way to trial and won, preserving their family business.
How did you build a successful practice? We have maintained a mindset of loyalty and creativity to clients who come to our office with a problem or a need for representation in business. We work only toward solving that client’s problem to the best of our ability or advancing their business interests.
What should clients look for in a lawyer? Clients should look for a lawyer with ideas on how to solve problems, who will represent that client’s interests vigorously, and recognize potential pitfalls a client can’t see.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases? Knowledge of the law and an ability to apply it to the facts are the most important factors in successful representation.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation? We can usually outline for a client a potential roadmap for how to achieve what they want, depending on the situation.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation? We need as many facts as we can get because good initial advice depends on knowing the whole story.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community? We are small enough to act efficiently for clients with real problems and complex businesses, but large enough to be effective in large cases.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? Solving a client’s problem or achieving their goal in a transaction they bring us. What are your other interests in addition to law? My family. Youth soccer.
