About Anthony

Anthony De Yurre specializes in commercial real estate and corporate transactions.  After earning his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law, Mr. De Yurre specialized in commercial real estate by being one of the few Florida attorneys to also earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami, where he focused on mixed-use and condominium development, loan structuring, land use and zoning, and financial analysis.  As a board member of the Risk Management Association of South Florida (RMA), the nation’s leading banking and financial services industry association, Mr. De Yurre continues to stay on the leading edge of the latest market trends affecting real estate and corporate finance.

Mr. De Yurre’s corporate representations includes both real estate and non-real estate companies in acquisitions and sales, commercial and industrial financing, credit line financing, asset based lending, and contract drafting, including complex operating and shareholders agreements.  While Mr. De Yurre represents pioneering companies at all stages of development, he has an affinity for representing start-ups.  As a former founder and director of a web based startup that was listed by Inc. Magazine in 2007 as one of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the U.S.A., Mr. De Yurre appreciates the hard work that entrepreneurs put into their businesses and his hands-on experience assists him in better recognizing his clients’ goals.  As a venture coach at the Launch Pad at the University of Miami, Mr. De Yurre puts this dedication to practice by coaching startups from conception to market and beyond.   

Fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, Mr. De Yurre frequently represents foreign buyers/investors in both real estate and corporate matters.

Prior to specializing in commercial real estate and business transactions, Mr. De Yurre practiced complex real estate and corporate litigation representing clients in both state and federal court.  Mr. De Yurre’s litigation background provides him a unique prospective among transactional attorneys that allows him to think outside the box.  Mr. De Yurre views every transaction as an opportunity to provide value not just for the present transaction, but also for the future by providing forward looking solutions to avoid litigation.

Mr. De Yurre has been honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers in Miami-Dade County”. He serves as the President of the South Florida Duke University Alumni Association and as a member of the United Way Leadership Committee. He is also a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and the Cuban American Bar Association.

Mr. De Yurre is admitted to practice in Florida; United States District Court, Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida; and, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. De Yurre is a Florida native and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
