Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Prior to starting Wrady & Michel, LLC, I worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery Alabama. I prosecuted thousands of cases during my time at the District Attorney's Office. Through my work I was given the opportunity to change lives. I did this by helping families through tough times, counseling victims, and putting the bad guys behind bars.
How did you build a successful practice?
We have a young practice, but our success is built squarely on the hardworking shoulders of Josh and myself. We are both young and hungry lawyers who maintain a passion for the practice of law and for helping people. Any success we have comes from our hard work and dedication to our families and our clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who cares about people. They should look for a lawyer who treats them as if he/she is the lawyer's only client. Clients should look for a competent, hard working atorney that understands the clients needs and works efficiently to meet those needs.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is important no matter what field you enter as a professional. I am from the Birmingham area, so my knowledge of the people and places uniquely situates me to help my clients with whatever issue they may have.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
Our free consultation is a time for the attorney and client to speak about why the client needs the help of an attorney. It is a time for the attorney to get to know the client and vice-versa. The client needs to provide any and all documents/items that help validate/verify his/her particular claim.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
What differentiates me from other attorneys is the fact I am very enthusiastic and passionate about the practice of law. I also have a great deal of courtroom experience from my days as a prosecutor. Because of this I am not afraid to take a case all the way through trial if it is in the clients best interest.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is that I get to help people. Through our practice, which is focused mainly on employment work, we are able to help protect the rights of the state and private workers of Alabama.
Are you involved in your community?
I have recently moved back to the Birmingham area following my time at the Montgomery County District Attorney's office. My wife and I are currently looking for a church to join and for opportunities to give back to the community. I am looking forward to expanding my and my family's involvement in the community in the near future.
