About Anthony

Tony has developed a diverse litigation practice, with concentrations in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Estate Litigation.

In the area of Employment Law, Tony regularly represents both employers and employees in a wide variety of employment matters such as employment discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment claims, whistleblowing, and age, race, gender and disability discrimination claims. Tony has also litigated wage and hour disputes.

In addition, Tony helps employers develop and implement effective employment handbooks, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with ever changing federal and state law, and to minimize the risk of litigation. Tony also has experience in negotiating and drafting severance agreements.

In the area of Commercial Litigation, Tony represents corporations of all sizes, corporate officers, directors, and shareholders in breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder/member disputes, including “freeze out actions” involving minority shareholders/members, and actions to dissolve limited liability companies.

In the area of Trusts and Estate Litigation, Tony represents executors, trustees, and beneficiaries, in will disputes, writings intended as wills, undue influence/diminished capacity cases, accounting actions, and breaches of fiduciary duty claims. Tony is also regularly appointed by the Superior Court to serve as Court appointed counsel and temporary guardian to alleged incapacitated individuals.

He started with the firm in 2010 as a summer associate and continued working for the firm throughout law school. In 2012, Tony served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven F. Nemeth in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, Special Civil Part, in Ocean County. As a law clerk he researched all aspects of civil litigation. He also routinely mediated small claims, special civil, and landlord-tenant disputes  to resolution. Thereafter, Tony joined the firm on a full time basis in the fall of 2013.

Prior to obtaining his law degree Tony interned with the Honorable Ann Marie Donio, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey. He also served as a student attorney at the Rutgers Children’s Justice Clinic representing juvenile clients in delinquency hearings, post-disposition reviews, and associated legal matters.

Additionally while in law school, Tony worked as a teaching assistant for a professional responsibility course, competed in the Hunter Advanced Moot Court competition, and volunteered in the Bankruptcy, Mediation, and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance pro bono projects.

He serves as coach for the Holy Spirit Mock trial team, and is a member of the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court. Tony also serves on the Board of the Ventnor Community Fund and Endowment, a 501(c)(3) charity affiliated with the Community Foundation of South Jersey.
