About Ashley
Ashley is passionate about using the law to further justice and equity. Ashley’s past experiences focus on policy work, legal research, editing, and legal writing. At Legal Voice and the Homeless Rights Advocacy project, Ashley drafted, reviewed, and wrote comments for proposed legislation impacting marginalized communities. She wrote prescriptive policy briefs on issues like homelessness, racial justice, economic justice, gender justice, discrimination, constitutional law, and employment law. Ashley also has a background in representing youth charged with crimes as defense counsel for the Youth Advocacy Clinic and working in dependency court with the WA Attorney General’s Office.
