About Ashley
ASHLEY E. SWINK is a partner in the firm's litigation group. A graduate of Auburn University and the Emory University School of Law, Ms. Swink is originally from Wetumpka, Alabama. Her employment practice includes assisting clients in drafting employment policies, procedures and handbooks and often works with employers on issues involving technology in the workplace. In addition, Ms. Swink regularly defends employers against charges filed with the EEOC and in litigation involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, age discrimination and retaliatory discharge. As part of her commercial and business litigation practice, she represents and advises both businesses and individuals on matters including contractual disputes, banking law, securities/shareholder disputes, sales representative litigation, personal injury and insurance disputes. Ms. Swink has a particular interest in cases involving the intersection of business and employment litigation, such as trade secrets, covenants not to compete, and non-solicitation/non-disclosure agreements.
Ms. Swink is admitted to practice in the State of Alabama and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
