Mark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College in 2000 and from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2003. He has been admitted to the Indiana State, Northern Indiana and Southern Indiana Federal Districts since that time. Mark began his career serving both Marion and Cass Counties as a Felony Deputy Prosecutor from 2003 to 2007, completing thirty felony jury trials. He still selectively takes on criminal defense cases today. However, for the past 13 years, Mark has focused on civil litigation for Starr Austen & Miller, LLP and has tried many cases for plaintiffs and defendants. He has presented at legal seminars for other attorneys and insurance company in-house staff on construction law insurance coverage, personal injury and contractual dispute issues.
