About Audrey
Ms. Myer is an experienced trial attorney, having tried to jury verdict multiple cases as lead counsel. She has also previously worked for State Farm Insurance Company as a counsel, which position she held for over ten years. In this role, she managed extra-contractual litigation in the states of Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Hawaii, Washington and California.
Ms. Myer is also the previous owner of a franchise. Her experience as a franchise owner and as in-house counsel supervising litigation provides her with a unique prospective from the client's point of view.

Kerr v. Ali
Defended Plaza Deli in wrongful death lawsuit filed by family of young woman who died in a single rollover Porsche accident. Plaintiff argued the defendant driver was in the course and scope of employment at the time of the accident, and that Plaza Deli was therefore responsible for the accident. Received judgment of non-suit for Plaza Deli.
Harmon v. Conestoga Hotel
Defended Conestoga Hotel in lawsuit by guest of hotel. Plaintiff alleged a dangerous condition of the interior staircase and claimed over $350,000 in special damages. Received defense verdict.
Barnes v. Hillman
Defended homeowner in premises liability action involving carpeted stairs. Plaintiff alleged a dangerous condition and claimed over $200,000 in special damages. Received defense verdict.
Tennant v. Purdy, City of Garden Grove
Defended City of Garden Grove and Officer Purdy in lawsuit stemming from a two-vehicle traffic collision. Officer Purdy was responding to a robbery in progress, and entered the intersection on a red light with lights and siren activated. Plaintiff collided with Officer Purdy in the intersection and claimed the officer was at fault. Received defense verdict.

Kramer v. State Farm Fire & Casualty (1999) 76 Cal.App.4th 322, 90 Cal.Rrtr.2d 301 (Bad faith and breach of contract claims fell outside the coverage of the policies and fell under the intentional acts exclusion.)
Carlson v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. (2001) 2001 U.S. App. LEXIS 13315 (Statute of limitations bars Unfair Trade Practices claim.)
Graham v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. (2003) 138 Idaho 611, 67 P.3d 90 (Third party cannot sue insurer for bad faith following judgment secured by the third party against the policyholder.)
Boll v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (2004) 140 Idaho 334, 92 P.3d 1081 (Jury verdict of no breach of the implied covenant was affirmed in common fund case.) Affirmed by the Idaho Supreme Court.
Grimsrud v. Hagel (v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company) (2005) 2005 MT 194, 119 P.3d 47 (Exclusion in policy for damage to property being transported by insured did not violate Montana's mandatory insurance coverage statute.)
Wade v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (2006) Plaintiff sued State Farm for bad faith following denial of her claims after an automobile collision in Montana. The jury found in State Farm's favor in this institutional case. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the jury verdict.
Melichar v. State Farm Fire & Casualty Co. (2007) 152 Pacific Reporter 3d 587 (Homeowners sued State Farm for bad faith following denial of mold claim. The court found in State Farm's favor by directed verdict. On appeal, the Idaho Supreme Court affirmed the trial court's decision.
All bad faith cases tried to jury verdict in over 10 years resulted in defense verdicts.
