About Balkrishna
Bal Kale, M.D.,J.D. was born in Sholapur, India.
He did his pre-med at St.Xavier's College, Bombay, India, and attended Seth G.S.Medical College, Bombay, India, graduating with M.B.B.S. in 1967 and M.D. (Specialty Boards in Obstetrics and Gynecology) in 1971.
Dr. Kale came to U.S. in 1971, where he completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan in 1975. Dr. Kale became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology after passing part one of the specialty boards in 1975 and part two in 1977.
In 1976, Dr. Kale moved to Beaumont, Texas, where he practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology until 1984. In 1984, he limited his practice to gynecology and continued practicing until 1993, when he decided to devote his full time to the practice of law.
Dr. Kale attended South Texas School of Law from 1986 till 1989 and passed the Texas bar exam in 1989. He recognized for his expertise in medical malpractice law, and been instrumental in assisting other firms in evaluating and litigating medical negligence and hospital negligence cases. He has been involved in many successful medical malpractice cases in with other lawyers in Southeast Texas. He was instrumental in a medical malpractice case in Jefferson County in 2001 which resulted in a record setting $25,000,000. verdict.
In 2003, Dr. Kale became associated with Clay Dugas & Associates, where he continues to handle complex cases involving medical malpractice, hospital negligence, nursing home negligence, pharmaceutical injuries, and medical device injuries.
