Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
In a family law matter, where the parties were not married and had a 9 year old daughter together, while representing the Mother, I was able to obtain a favorable child support amount even though Father was questioning paternity, recent loss of significant income, and alienation through interference.
How did you build a successful practice?
This is my third profession, so I started without any Clients, with a law partner who also started without any Clients. My success is built on the ability to be quickly respond to my Clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
In family law, just have a conversation with the lawyer and make sure you can communicate well with each other. Lawyers that are curt, nasty and aggressive do not bring you success.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Knowing the Judge (lawyer's audience) that presides over your case is key to making a successful case.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
My free telephone consultations include the options available to the Client, and possible outcomes based on my experience.

Potential Clients must have relevant paperwork in front of them for a successful free telephone consultation.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
My small practice has an edge over larger firms because I do not need to answer to the usual office politics or billable hours deadlines.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Most rewarding for me is making a difference in a family's life.

My interests include travel and home projects.
