Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Recently, I facilitated several settlements of construction disputes without the need to commence litigation. This saved the clients considerable time and money and allowed them to move forward and/or complete their projects in a timely manner. This is particularly important in construction cases as litigation can be very costly and can cause significant delays in project completion.

How did you build a successful practice?

I built a successful law practice by getting to know my clients and by really listening to their problems and concerns, returning their calls and emails promptly, and by tailoring each case strategy based on their specific set of circumstances and their ultimate goals.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A client should look for a lawyer who carefully listens to their problems and concerns, who promptly returns their phone calls and who can provide the client with peace of mind.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

In a free phone consultation, I can generally assess a client's case based on the facts presented and I can provide the client with a general idea of how I can help them reach their goal. I further explain to the client any relevant laws and court procedures and discuss the attorneys' fees and costs, attorneys' fee agreement and answer any other questions or concerns expressed by the client.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

In a free phone consultation, I request the client's information, details regarding their particular legal matter and I ask the clients what their goals are and what they wish to accomplish.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

When a client is happy with the results, when the client is relieved that the dispute has been resolved, when the client tells me he is or she is satisfied at the completion of their case. Then, I have done my job.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I love to travel to different countries, speak different languages and experience different cultures, I love all animals and dogs in particular and I love to cook.
