Questions & Answers

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

ALWAYS be honest with your attorney. One of the worst things that can happen is if your attorney appears at your hearing misinformed about the facts of your case. Honest communication with your attorney will facilitate the highest quality representation possible. Always have a thorough understanding of the fee arrangement before you sign any contract, but most importantly--make sure you get along with your attorney. When you hire an attorney, you quickly develop a personal relationship with them, so make sure your personalities are compatible. Also, an important consideration is the ability to get in touch with your attorney. An open and communicative relationship facilitates the best attorney-client relationship.
