Brett Stecklein specializes in commercial, non-subscription and employment litigation. Brett has enjoyed a diverse practice with clients ranging from Fortune 1000 corporations to large insurance companies to individuals. Regardless of the client, the focus is on results. Brett has significant trial experience, handling a variety of areas in his commercial practice from one side of Texas to the other. Brett has maintained an active and varied practice that has provided him extensive trial experience as well as trial preparation and motion practice. Brett was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in November 1995 and is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Texas, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the federal district courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas. His handling of complex cases has resulted in a multitude of favorable verdicts and settlements for the firm's clients.
Brett was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1969. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Colorado State University in 1992, and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in 1995, where he was a member of the Board of Advocates and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Brett and his wife Amy are actively involved in charitable organizations in Dallas, members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, and, most importantly, raising their two children, Ella and Nate.
