About David

David Frisse, a native of Highland, Illinois, is a graduate of Notre Dame University and the Saint Louis University of Law.  He served as head of the Tax Litigation Division in the Illinois Attorney General's office before entering private practice in Illinois in 1979.  In 1994, David founded Frisse Law Offices in Paris, Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana.  The firm became Frisse & Brewster Law Offices in 2005 when associate Rick Brewster became a full partner.

David concentrates in business and estate planning law, using the unique "team" approach of education, counseling, creative decision making and family conversation.  This approach of engaging the client and including the professional financial and legal advisors in the process is designed to protect what's important to the client.

David is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. Providing support and continuing education, the Network's members share a practicing commitment that respects the dignity of both their profession and their clients.

David lectures extensively and co-authored Love, Money, Control: Reinventing Estate Planning.  Mr. Frisse is also a contributing columnist for the Terre Haute Journal of Business and the South Central Illinois edition of The Business Report. His affiliations, activities, memberships, continuing education, and leadership roles both in his profession and within his community are considerable.

David is considered a local authority on Napoleonic history and plays a mean guitar as lead singer of his band, Pilgrim Blues & More Band.
