About Brian
Brian's general civil practice is focused in business and organization law and civil litigation with a concentration in domestic relations, and he represents a wide variety of businesses, organizations and individuals in negotiations, transactions and litigation.
Typical organizational clients include small-to-medium sized businesses, community associations, non-profit organizations and municipal government. Brian is pleased to serve as the Town Attorney for Sharpsburg, Maryland.
Brian's family law practice focuses on counseling and alternative dispute resolution and, where needed, the litigation of complex mattes. He has served as court-appointed child counsel in cases in Washington, Worcester and Somerset counties.
Brian is a mediator qualified by the Circuit Court for Washington County and serves often as court-appointed mediator in civil and domestic matters. He is a member of the American and Maryland State Bar Associations, the National Association of Child Counsel and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He is a past director of the Washington County Bar Association and serves on the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission District 6.
Brian holds a law degree from Penn State University's Dickinson School of Law, where he was an editor of the Dickinson Law Review, a master's degree from Jacksonville (Florida) University, and a bachelor's degree from Florida State University.
