About Brian

Brian A. Laird was raised in Tucson, Arizona, attended local schools and graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law. He is the author of two novels, a former adjunct professor of law teaching pretrial litigation at the University of Arizona College of Law, and past president of the Federal Bar Association, Tucson Chapter.

Mr. Laird received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law with honors. In law school, Mr. Laird was a member of the National Moot Court Team. He was winner of the Best Brief, Best Overall Advocate, and Outstanding Oral Advocate in Final Round of the Fegtly Moot Court Competition. He won the Jenckes Closing Argument Competition twice. He was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award, and the Chandler Award for Advancement of First Amendment Values.
