About Brian
Brian J. Russell earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School graduating cum laude in 1999 where he was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board and on the Dean’s List all 6 semesters. He obtained a bachelors of arts degree from the University of Illinois – Urbana in 1996. After graduating law school, Brian began an aggressive trial career which saw him try over 45 jury trials, conduct over a hundred of arbitrations, and take nearly a hundred depositions in his first year as an attorney.
This wide array of experience continues for Brian as he handles all aspects of civil litigation, including personal injury matters, insurance matters, employment issues, construction cases, real estate litigation, and business and corporate disputes. During his 12+ years as an attorney, Brian has also worked on thousands of residential and commercial transactions. Brian also has become an experienced consumer bankruptcy attorney having represented debtors and creditors in over 500 bankruptcy matters in federal bankruptcy court. Recognizing the need to help individuals regain their financial freedom, Brian has worked tirelessly to help his clients obtain the protections afforded to them in state and federal courts.
