He was first employed as a lawyer in Eugene, Oregon, as appellate counsel for the largest workers' compensation firm in Oregon. After leaving employment in Eugene, Mr. Whitehead continued practicing in the area of workers' compensation and personal injury and started his own practice in 1985.
