About Brittain
To be a caring, but aggressive advocate best describes Ms. Bandura's goal in representing injured workers. With an undergraduate degree in psychology and master level studies in counseling, she is aware of the significant frustrations that injured workers and their families' experience. This understanding, combined with her outstanding advocacy skills, equips and motivates Ms. Bandura to tirelessly pursue the optimal outcome for her clients.
Following her summa cum laude graduation from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, Ms. Bandura attended Michigan State University College of Law on a Full Tuition Merit Scholarship. She became one of the law school's most celebrated advocates due to her ability to recall detailed legal precedent and craft persuasive arguments. After being elected to the Moot Court & Advocacy Board, she won an impressive variety of awards from national advocacy competitions, including a First Place finish in a Securities Law competition. Ms. Bandura was also awarded the Jurisprudence Award in Civil Trial Advocacy II and worked as a research assistant for the Alternative Dispute Resolution program before she went on to graduate magna cum laude. Prior to joining Woodruff & Johnson, Ms. Bandura was instrumental in the creation of the DuPage County Bar Association's Academy of Bar Leaders Continuing Legal Education program.
Ms. Bandura represents clients at both the arbitration and appellate levels. Enjoying the challenge of appellate work, she has written briefs and argued at the Industrial Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court levels. While she represents clients in all Illinois venues, Ms. Bandura's practice is concentrated in the Chicagoland and Champaign-Urbana areas. When not working, she enjoys theater, traveling and her adopted shelter dog, Rocco.
