About Brittany

Brittany Furr Gordon is a West Virginia University College of Law graduate in Morgantown, West Virginia. A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Mrs. Gordon is a William Byrd High School graduate. She holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Virginia Tech.

While attending West Virginia University College of Law, she was a member of the Legal Clinic, which focused on general civil litigation. Mrs. Gordon additionally participated in an externship program with the West Virginia Public Defender’s Office in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where she worked with mentor attorneys to provide legal representation to criminal defendants.

Mrs. Gordon has been named to the 2018 and 2019 Virginia Super Lawyer, Rising Stars list; this distinction is only awarded to 2.5% of attorneys in each state annually and includes attorneys that embody excellence in law practice.  Mrs. Gordon’s practice focuses on divorce and custody, adoption, criminal defense, DUI, traffic offenses, personal injury, estate planning, and general civil litigation. She is also a certified guardian ad litem for children and in 2023 has been appointed as a Substitute General District and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court Judge.

While not practicing law, Mrs. Gordon is an avid fan of all thing’s fitness, obstacle course racing, and spending time with her family and friends.
