Attorney Jake Kimball is a Colorado Springs personal injury lawyer and the founder of Kimball Injury Law, LLC. His path to personal injury law began long before he entered the courtroom. At age 19, Jake was struck by a drunk driver while walking along the side of the road. The crash caused serious injuries, including long-term spinal damage, and gave him firsthand insight into the pain, uncertainty, and frustration injury victims often experience. Jake earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2005. During law school, he served as an associate editor for the Ohio State Law Journal. He began his legal career in insurance defense, where he spent nearly a decade learning how insurance companies investigate, evaluate, and defend personal injury claims. Jake later chose to apply that experience on behalf of injured people and their families. Since transitioning to plaintiff-side representation, he has recovered millions of dollars for clients. Jake is admitted to practice in the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association, El Paso County Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and National Traumatic Brain Injury Association.
